Patrick Davis

Patrick Davis infuses reggae, indie, rock, and hip-hop into an explosive sound that is musical,
passionate and lyrical. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, that has seen the rise of several prolific
hip-hop artists (Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Kid Cudi, and Machine Gun Kelly), Patrick feels
right at home.

Patrick Davis also leads Kairos a weekly gathering in the Coventry Arts District in Cleveland,
Ohio. Audio from several of his teaching tours throughout the U.S. and Australia are
available here. Patrick’s teaching is from an alternative Jewish roots angle with a modern
and practical approach. He values deep study and simple application.

The practice as much as the study. Most events consist of visual art, live music and teaching.
With creative lyricism and a combination of driving, edgy and melodic music, Patrick creates
an atmosphere and sound that is powerful, unique and dynamic. He has toured extensively
throughout the United States as well as three tours in Australia. Patrick has been recording,
writing, teaching and doing shows for over 10 years. After going to prison as a juvenile and
almost being sentenced to 45 years for robbery, kidnapping and gun charges, he found out his
brother, Larry, was murdered.

Instead of allowing it to crush him, it led him to finding his purpose as a musician and
international speaker. Patrick has been able to sell thousands of records, travel the U.S. and
do three speaking/music tours in Australia all without a record contract. There’s something
about reality driven music and teaching that people seem to connect with. The passion and
soul of his music and life has been able to transcend genre barriers, clicks and the clichés
in both the music and religious world. His music and videos have seen air play and review
in the U.K., Africa, Australia, India, U.S.A., and Asia.

His latest release, “Every Tribe The World Album” features over 20 artists from 8 different
countries. Genre blurring and mind stretching this is his most mature and provocative release
to date. Every Tribe was released in late 2011 and Patrick is already working on his newest
release which will be a mixture of reggae, live dub-step, hip-hop and rock.

Nick Svoboda

Nick Svoboda has been a part of Patrick Davis' music for 7 years now,
playing drums and percussion, recording, mixing, mastering, and
programming parts of the 3 latest albums. Nick has a strong background
in audio engineering, having graduated through a joint program at Case
Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music for a
B.A. in Music and Audio Technology.

He has also been studying drums and percussion for 10 years, studying
with Jamey Haddad, percussionist for Paul Simon. With a wide palate
of styles from jazz and latin, to rock and hip-hop, Nick brings his own
style and expertise to the music of Patrick Davis.

Hello Patrick,

My name is Jamie. I came up to you after your show at Peabody's (a club in downtown Cleveland).
I bought your cd. Rap is not my type of music. I'm more of a punk/rock kind of person. But your
music I like.. I was getting really bored of the music other groups were doing until you stepped
onto the stage. Your music really spoke to me. It caught my attention. When I got home I listened
to your cd and it's just wow awesome. Great music. I'm a christian myself. Lately I have been
slipping away from God. After I lost my father in December, I slowly started to slip into a dark place.
Tonight when I heard your music, it opened my eyes and your music pulled me away from the dark
and back into the light. I just wanted to say thank you. Your music means a lot to me. Please let me
know when you have a new cd out..

Jamie (Cleveland, Ohio)

Patrick, Jacqueline and the rest of the band;

I attended your show last night at Fat Jimmy's Bar in Kent, Ohio. I just wanted to write and tell you
how much I enjoyed the show. You guys are a huge inspiration to me and my friend. We talked
to you guys after your performance. Our names were Carly and Sara. We took pictures with you
guys and your drummmer (John) gave us some drumsticks. We really enjoyed ourselves. I added
your myspaces and I hope you guys enjoyed being there as much as we did. Thank you,

Sara and Carly. (Kent, Ohio)

Hey man,

It's Larry here. We met at the mansfield gig. Me and a few of the others. Just wanted to show you
my personal gratitude man. You rocked and the passion you have for God is SO admirable. I praise
him for letting our paths cross. We're a somewhat smaller youth group with a great relationship with
God. Right now (and always) we are his vessels and he is moving through us. We are all very
excited to be involved. We all really received from your message the other night bro and I am hoping
to catch you again before you go back to the states. So when and where are you bringin your
messages bro? I'll try my hardest to be there. And when is it that you fly back out? Anyways bro take
care and God bless! We're praying for your ministry to grow brother.

Larry (Australia)

Hi Patrick ,

This Shannon Masih from Inala , I hope you still remember me I am just writing to you to say that
I am fine and I can't stop listening to that CD I purchased from you at church. It gets me thinking
when I hear the lyrics and how much you are gratetful for what God has done to help you in your
troubled life that you have had. I too have lots of problems, and to hear your songs and the life you
had problems with , made me think that if God heard you and helped you through your difficult
times , I can try to work hard and worship more and be successful just as you have become.

Shannon. (Inala, Australia)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patrick,

That was great! Well worth the wait. It was great to see that place come alive! To see the
attention that people paid to you. I had my doubts about that group of spectators. They all
seemed so disconnected and disinterested before you took the stage. You had every ones
attention. I am glad that I went. It helps to see people that I wouldn't normally run across.
Reminds me how many people need Christ. And how different people are from one side
of the street to the other.

Theresa (Washington)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey,

My name is Sunny. I was at your show on friday night at Suncoast Youth it was great.
you and your wife are such an inspiration........ Talk soon

Sunny (Suncoast, Australia)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey,

You remember me? You came to my church and performed for the "bridge". Later you prayed
for me when I broke down crying. Your music is a powerful bandaid. Don't ever stop or give up.
Keep on trucking .I still draw, if you need any drawings done, don't be afraid to ask.

-Christy. (Ohio)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DUDE!!!!! PATRICK!!

Your concept rocked on Saturday night!! What a great heart for God you have.. your song
suicide made the hairs on the back of me neck go up, and my heart was full of a feeling that
God has for the hearts of people that undertake such horrible actions.. I pray that you and your
wife are empowered to share your story everywhere.. as it is life changing.. I thank God for your
testimony! Make sure you add a comment on my page, so I can refer people to your music
and testimony!! Rock on in faith and power in his strength! God Bless!!

Deano (Brisbane, Australia)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patrick,

I got em! Thanks so much! It is a little edgier than Till My Last Breath.. I like it. I gotta tell you,
your story keeps me going. Seeing how God changes lives never ceases to amaze me.
And now, there you go, off to Australia! May He use you both there in a powerful new way
that even you don't expect!

Theresa (Solon, Ohio)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Patrick,

How are you doing? You dont know how long I have tried to locate you. Years ago I called
Mr. Crayton to see how you ended up. He told me about the rapping and I am very proud of
you man. I dont know if you remember me but you were my bunk mate at CHBS. Timothy
Schmidt, you were the first person to ever tell me about the Word of God and you were the
person who had me believe and saved me. I never forgot about you. I think its great what
you are doing, it is so inspiring and it really proves God is real, I remember your story so
well and if people really only knew thestatistics you beat, you should be on 60 minutes.

I appreciate the email so much I really do. I hope I get a chance to see you one day and
I promise that everybody I meet in the Cincinnati, Dayton area will know your story. I am
so happy to see what you are doing with your life. I remember our talks and you
influenced my life more then you will ever know. I never forgot about you, not one week. I
wanted to take the chance to say something I never got to say as a kid. Thank you, thanks
for telling me the Word, and that Jesus loves me, I was more lost then, then you will ever
know. It truly saved my life and thanks for caring when no one else did to take the time
to tell a punk kid that Jesus loves him and there is something better for me.

Tim (Dayton, Ohio)

Hey man,

First i wanna say you totally rock bro...i was at Citipointe tonight, actually i was the
camera guy running around on stage and you totally changed sooo many people...
I wanna know, is there anywere i can find your full biography...also i was just
wondering...you came out of a really really tough life, you had a lot of bad habits...
how were you able to just drop all those habits and become the jesus freak that
you are today? coz i have habits that i need to drop, but no one seems to be
able to help me drop them...ppl don't wanna admit that they are there..could you
gimme some advice? Anyway rock on man,

James (Brisbane, Australia)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Pat,

Thank you soo much for comming to Australia for your tour. You came to Citipointe Church
where i attend, i first saw you in the youth on the friday, then i saw you again on Tuesday
night at the creative ministries meeting, and what you spoke on really touched my life. You
were talking about worshiping God though all that we do, from singing to lighting, guitar
playing, to the cable pulling. I was the cable puller for the night where u were sitting in the
seats watching the worship, and the service where you and your wife sang. Before that
message on the tuesday night, i just thought that my role was not that important, that i wasnt
really serving for Jesus. But through that message, it gave me a new light on what i do.

And the Sunday night that you two sung, i was given the oppotunity at the end to do some
of the shoulder camera on stage. Which i was told was amaizing for my fist time. So thank
you very much for comming and impacting my life. I also bought the CD, and i have some
friends that need to listen to what you are singing. I know it will impact their lives.

Thank You

Jordan (Brisbane, Australia)

Lee (Brisbane, Australia)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey man..

I heard of you from my brother. He saw you at the Cyber Cafe in Bethel, Ohio. He bought one
of your cds and let me hear it. I just thought I would tell you that I really like your music. It's
really awesome and this is coming from a kid that never listens to rap. I always thought that
rap with screaming would sound awesome. I am listening to one of your songs right now. I've
been listening to it all day. You can really feel the anointing. It's great that you are a christian
and how you have something to say with some meaning..

Mark (Cincinnati, Ohio)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patrick,

After reading your note and listening to your music, I am certain that we are fighting in
the same mission field. I pray that God will continue to bless you in every way possible. I
believe deeply in what you are doing and would love to have you and your group come
to our church..

Rob (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yo kid,

I came across your songs download.com, and it hit me. I hit a brick wall in life recently,
was left screaming for help and received in a way that I never expected. I feel your music
unlike I've felt any in a long time. I want to know where I could cop your whole cd..

Mike (Detroit, Michigan)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patrick,

You helped me a lot, thanks. I still listen to the cds you sent me and I watched the DVD
the other day. Things are going a lot better. I'm getting closer to God. I really like your music
and that you do it for God, that's why I support you. Besides you helped me get through
all that stuff I was going through..

Becky (California)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yo, Patrick,

I really liked your music. I love rap music. I like the style of music that you use. Has a
real street approach to it, that I think will reach a lot of people. There's a lot of feeling
in your songs that you can feel through the lyrics. I just want to say that some of the
songs have touched me.

Robie (Cleveland, Ohio)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey what's up,

Got your message, it's pretty cool how you write back. I heard your music from soundclick.
You said you listen to Underoath, that's pretty cool, I like them as well. I'm from Illinios,
(Peoria). Anyways I like the songs, "Cry", "Suicide Letter", and "Last Breath".

The lyrics are awesome like I said before you rap about real stuffI I have myself experienced
some of the things that you rap about. It's cool man, I usually only listen to Black/Death Metal.
Then I heard some of your songs and your lyrics are incredible. You sing about life and
the real stuff pretty cool.

JC (Peoria, Illinios)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patrick,

It's about time a rapper with talent put it to good use. Your love for God shows through
your lyrics and the message is real.

Unknown (USA)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Patrick,

I'm Jon's cousin, Darlene. I just want to thank you for your ministry to the teens at Jon's funeral,
and memorial the past few days. I spoke with you after the funeral luncheon and mentioned
that your music reminded me of Eminem's and the Jon really would've gotten into your music.
He could relate to Eminem because just like Jon, He didn't know his dad and his mom
was only partially present in his life. His friends knew this.

So I find it very fitting and God ordained that his passing and your music have intertwined at
a time when his friends are most open to receiving Christ. They are a good group of guys.
I pray your music and their contact with either the CNC or Vermillion Assembly youth group
will lead them to know Christ. You deserve so many thanks for totally going out of your
way to minister to the friends of a boy you didn't even know.. You would've liked him.
I pray God's best to you, your family and your ministry.. Thanks again..

Darlene (Ohio)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey, Patrick,

This is Chelsie. I was at John's funeral today. I just wanted to thank you for showing
support for my boys family and for all my friends. I am pretty tight with all these dudes
out here and they are having some rough times. But you've been through some
loses, I read your bio and it was awesome for these kids to have someone who can
relate to what they are going through. I believe in what you are doing, it's a good
cause keep it up, and I'll see you at the church.. Thanks so much..

Chelsie (Ohio)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patrick,

My mate, the guy that cable pulled for me that night you came to Citipointe found the
dvd promo on your site...its really good man...It's weird coz i tell all my mates,
aww we had the best dude come preach to us...you should hear his story and when
they do they like...are you serious?!

Your life story man is soo intense and soo full of struggles and stuff it is just crazy...
people look at you and think if God loves him then he can love me too...It's
surprising how God works...Anyway if you guys come back to qld you haveto let
me know aiight coz i got mates that need to hear you, mates that need to talk
to someone who understands what they're goin through...

James (Queensland, Australia)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Patrick,

I saw you perform at Cornerstock this evening. I just wanted you to know that
the song you wrote your mom really ministered to me. I am a single mom
raising 3 kids. My husband left for another woman. We were a military family before the
divorce, and moved 17 times in 18 years with the Navy. I've fought very hard to give my
kids stability and love in the midst of so much difficulty, but since my husband left, my oldest
son who's 16, has really taken a dark road. In many ways I have felt like all the years I have
tried so hard have just become a heaping pile of ruins, and that none of the love and truth I've
tried to give my kids has had an impact.

Your music inspired me to stand tall and keep shining the love of Christ and to keep praying for
them-that it does matter, and it isn't for nothing. I will remember your music when I begin to feel
a loss of hope. God can do a beautiful thing with a pile of ruins. I really needed to hear your
performance, and I will not forget it. It meant a great deal to me. Thank you so much. See you
in glory! Your sister in Christ,

Susanne (Akron, Ohio)
